Day 01 MUNNAR
- Arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station.Transfer to Munnar. Check in to the
hotel. Sightseeing in Munnar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 MUNNAR
- After breakfast sightseeing in Munnar- Devikulam, Mattupetty, Echo point,
Rajamalai and Pallivasal Waterfalls/overnight at the resort
Day 03 MUNNAR – THEKKADY
- After breakfast transfer from Munnar to Thekkady. Check in to the resort.
Periyar or Thekkady, the pride of Kerala and a testimony to nature's splendor
and human innovation, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of
the Periyar lake at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are
clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grasslands.
Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs,
lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 THEKKADY-HOUSEBOAT
- After breakfast transfer from Thekkady to Alleppey on to board house boat.
Overnight on houseboat board. With a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh
water rivers crisscrossing it, Alappuzha is a district of immense natural
beauty. Referred to as the Venice of the East by travellers from across the
world, this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. By
virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place
in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappuzha has grown in importance as a
backwater tourist centre; Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, houseboat
holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry.
Day 05 BACK TO AIRPORT/RAILWAY
STATION - End of trip transfer back to Cochin Airport/Railway station.
